How do you end an unhealthy relationship?

Long story short, my boyfriend is very jealous, goes through my phone, questions me like i'm always cheating, is very disrespectful, stubborn and just an all around asshole. The one thing that keeps me with him is the good times we have sometimes and that damn, "love" word. I want to end it but im afraid of being alone or seeing him move on because we're connected by facebook/twitter. Brutal honesty is what i need, please help.
