Environmental conditions

The Democrat Party is Responsible for the Poor.

Democrats put them on the Democrat Plantation, and promise them some free crumbs for Voting Democrat.

That's where you are--- on the Democrat Plantation.

I ESCAPED the Democrat Plantation.

Have you been a "beggar" all your life?

People with Pride & Honor refuse to BEG. Begging is a "Democrat Thing".

Hand-outs from the wealthy countries have destroyed the survival abilities of those who receive it.

I wouldn't lable the people who hurt the most the rich. I would say the money hoarders are the ones. The ones who show no compassion for others and no loyalty to the country that gave them the money. It cuts off circulation.

I love Oprah but when she spent money to help children in a other country I felt she showed disrespect for the people in the USA who spent the money that came to her. There are a lot of people who will only spend their money in the USA so they can help the economy. So poor people do spend their money here unless of course they are sending it to a foreign country to help their family. They most likely spend it on necessities which gives people jobs.

First, blaming someone you don't know is not going to solve any problems. To blame an entire group is stereotypical and ignorant.

Rich people do not control the environment, I promise they aren't mother nature.
Rich people do not control social conditions. Well, that's partially true actually. Hollywood celebrities are the main leaders in our social culture, and they happen to be liberals most of the time.
Lawyers and politicians control legal conditions, some happen to be rich.
Monetary policies are run by the FED and the banks, so politicians again.

People become beggars because they have chosen to beg instead of work. If you want to blame the rich that's your problem. Ridding the world of wealthy people or taking away their power would be a mistake.

It's the free market system gone awry after decades of deregulation and lower taxes.

Their goal is to make higher profits by making their companies leaner - which means doing everything they can to lower costs.

Lowering costs means lowering wages, eliminating benefits, etc.

Wages have stagnated since Reagan, and that is one of the issues with Social Security. They had originally calculated that there would be times where there would be more children, and times there would be fewer; times when people would live longer; etc. They did not calculate that salaries would stagnate, yet the richest would make more than anyones' wildest dreams - yet they would pay less into the system than the middle class...

They are partly responsible. No other developed country has the problem we have with 'structural unemployment', poverty, hunger, etc. The rich and corporations are the ones who make the rules, and they have reasons for keeping people poor.

Just for example, we consider 5% unemployment -full employment-. Whenever unemployment drops below 5%, the Fed raises interest rates to 'chill down' the economy. The idea is to have 20 people competing for every 19 jobs, like a game of musical chairs. The purpose of this is to keep wages down. When unemployment gets too low, wages start creeping up. Every other developed country has a true full employment policy.

We make it harder and harder for a kid born poor or even lower middle class to get a good education. Student loan debt in the US is now higher than credit card debt. Public schools are crumbling ruins, except in the nicest neighborhoods. The conservatives and the well-off HATE public education. They want their own kids to not have to compete with the riff raff for the few good jobs that will be available when they graduate.

Look at how we've done 'globalization'. The whole idea is to make national borders totally invisible to capital, so it can roam the world looking for the cheapest labor and other resources. But labor has to stay put. This results in a 'race to the bottom'. NAFTA hurt wages and working conditions and workers' rights in all three countries! How could it do that? It was DESIGNED to do that!

i'd say that the rich class are the most responsible for the fact that a lot of us have good jobs, to not only provide them with goods and services, but to work under their employ to make them profits
