Iam not able to deactivate my twitter account?

Hello ..
When even I try to deactivate my twitter account, I simply could not !
It just gets me back to the same page without deactivating.

ps. No app is authorized to use my twitter

It is very easy just log in to your twitter account and then click on settings button there you will find account setting at the end there is an option of deactivate my account. From there you can deactivate it. Hope it is helpful.
