What do the Twitter punctuation marks mean?
I was going to use it, but there were so many @s, #s, !s, etc. I nearly had SEIZURES! What the hell are they doing? Is it some type of secret code??? Are they swearing, funny page style?? Can't people speak in ENGLISH anymore???

Yes, they can.
Can you express frustration without making fun of people with seizure disorders? Just saying. Ads |

Well, I know that @ is for mentioning other users. Like if I say "@TiMTxD Wow, you must have really enjoyed that video. You haven't stopped talking about it!", then it will post it on my Twitter Page for me to read. You put # before a trend of sorts. Let's say you are just watching the X-Games. This is what you would put. "I'm watching the #xgames right now. Who else is?" It would show up with other people using the #xgames tag in their tweet. As for !, I'm not sure.
