Me and my buddy want to start a small fence buisness and dont know how to market it?

we can make pretty nice looking fence but just dont know how to sell ourselves ,any ideas?

i do marketing, so i would advice to do business cards, by an ad on the newspaper or local magazine make fliers leave them at grocery stores, hardware stores like ACE Home depot. MAKE T-SHIRTS AND WEARTHEM all the time.

First of all, practice what your going to say. You want it to be rehearsed but you never want it to sound rehearsed. It should be like breathing.

Handbills work. Go door to door and tell people about your business. People like to put a face with the business.

Do jobs for free or at a discount in exchange for putting a sign in their yard.

Try a local commercial.

Network. Facebook, myspace, twitter, get on there, make friends and promote yourself shamelessly.
