Should you thank people you retweet you on twitter?
kinda a basic twitter ettiquette question, lol still knida new to twitter, but got a few retweets should i say thanks? how? i there a system to?
basically my situation - tweeet about awesome (though not mainstream famous) person @their name which they retweet so should i say say thanks in some way? i guess its like shares on facebook except a bit different lol no one i know thanks for sharing, but is it different on twitter? #dont want to seem rude lol so yeah guess thats it, thanks heaps to anyone for helping! So you tell X you think that they are great and then X tells lots of other people that you think they are great.
That isn't something to thank them for. You're doing something nice for them, not the other way around. If you were promoting something, and they retweeted you then they would be promoting you and that could be worth thanking them for. |
