Does it cost money to use Twitter on your phone?
I bet this sounds like a dumb question, but I just tried to get Twitter on my iPhone and here is the message I got:
"Your device is verified!
You will get notifications from Twitter. Tweet from your phone:Just send it to this number. Std msg charges apply. Reply w/STOP to quit."

What does "Std msg charges apply" mean?

Standard message charges apply means that whatever you pay for text messages applies to using Twitter on your phone. Twitter works via text, so if you have unlimited text it will be free. If you pay ten cents per text, each tweet you send or receive will cost ten cents.
