My twitter keeps sending direct messages to other people?

Sometimes, I check my messages on twitter and find out that my twitter sent my followers messages, but it's not me. It's usually something like "Change your life now! Go to *link*". Have I been hacked?

Seems like your twitter account got compromised. Change your password and revoke access to any third party tools.

Its probably because you've signed up for a website to get you more followers so it Automatically sends Bribing messages to people so it can encourage them to click on the link
