How safe using logmein through this way?
i have some problems with my PC (sound card problem). One of my twitter follower said that he can fix my system through logmein.
actually i don't have any personal relation with him and i m first time hear about logmein.
is there any problem with this case. Can he abuse my system?

I fix my friends' systems through LogMeIn, but they have known me a long time. The software is as safe as letting that person sit at your keyboard with a few precautions.

When you install LogMeIn, it will start up whenever you turn your machine on. Anyone who knows your friend's ID and password can run your machine IF your machine is on and LogMeIn is running. LMN is not sneaky, there would always be a notice on your sctreen.

If you do decide to let your friend operate your computer, at least turn it off when the session is done. IIRC Msconfig's Startup tab is the place. Unstalling is easier.
