Is there any way to safely share a twitter account?

I'd like to have multiple people using my twitter account to microblog. My concern is that any one of them could change the email and password and take the account. Anyone know of a workaround to this? Maybe a third party service that does this effectively?

There is no facility for sharing a Twitter account as sharing is not a recognized concept in a security context. Any one of your multiple people could wreck the account.
Twitter is merely a social messaging site, not known for blogging
