I just made a twitter account and I want to get more followers. Can anyone tell me a few good ways to get more followers. thanks

You need to start tweeting so other people searching for something can find you. Something very popular are jokes and quotes. Have a look here: http://urlchef.com/tg/ This will get you tons of real people following. I use it myself!
