I have been asked to do a short essay on a current advertising campaign and why I think it is interesting. However, I am stuck as to what to write about, so I would greatly appreciate any information to do with any current advertising campaigns, preferably in the UK

You can talk about the use of social networking sites like Twitter and Facebook comments like Wheat Thins is doing. You can talk about the car commercials where they find real drivers on the road and do crazy things, like the one where they did a tune-up in the middle of NYC traffic. I like the Honda commercial where they paved the road in such a way to make a song as you drive on it. You can talk about the use of Google Earth to advertise.

Sorry, not familiar with Brittish marketing campaigns, these are what I've seen American companies doing these days.
