How can I promote myself as an affiliate marketer?

I write articles and have done for over a year. I have an understanding of seo and write in depth on various subjects. I have just got into affiliate marketing, adding to my blog and articles on Squidoo (not all site allow affiliate links). How can I now market myself and get more views? I have used social media and commented on other blogs.

You could start a youtube channel and upload video relevant to your niche. Then use the video to help you rank a web page that has the video embedded. There are some good tutorials to help you do that.

Use all the social networking sites you can join but don't try to post an Aff-link, just post a link to your webpage with the affiliate link on it.

Keep commenting on blogs and find those that have greater traffic and pagerank. I use Scrapebox to find all the best pages, both for relevance and pagerank. No spammy techniques used here, Google love quality links. These methods all help to drive targeted traffic, especially quality blog comments on related blogs.

3. Social Bookmarking

create some blog post articles in blog. post the article links in social media people will read your articles. Lot of best blogging sites like blogger, wordpress, etc are good. use the best keywords for your article. keywords are the best way to get traffic. If possible try to make a video in facebook.

I'm going to be honest with you, all the advise you was given before me are good. But as an affiliate meaning you have something to sell. Then you need fast results, commenting on blogs, seo etc and all that nonsense isn't going to get you quick affiliate sales. I know because i was just like you, let me tell you what can work.... go to the warrior forum and search for articles, then you will see people offering services... look for the ones that offer to write articles, then spin them (making more articles of each one), then submitting them to article directories (of course you'd have to give them your site url).. this causes a link wheel of backlinks to your site making it rank, also people reading those articles will then click the link to your site. So this is one part.

As an affiliate, it is better to have a list, list building should be your concern. Again go to the warrior forum again and have someone build you a squeeze page with a free offer of anything you interested in. for e.g if you selling to potential internet marketers then having a freebie on 'dominating facebook marketing'... 'blog cash magnets' can work.... the developer will build you a high converting squeeze page around the freebie.... your squeeze page should be linked to your autoresponder e.g aweber. i trust that you know how to use an autoresponder.

after this go back to the warrior forum again and search for solo ads.... these are ads you pay for.. to send people to your squeeze page... when they enter their details (emails etc) they are now on your list of autoresponder... so now you can sell to them over and over and over again.... all you need to do is simply invest in solo ads maybe every week until your list is huge.... so for e.g if you sell in I.M niche, weight loss, etc etc... have squeeze pages for each niche so you can market different products to each particular one... This is how the gurus do it my friend... you can't have a list of 500 in the I.M niche and sell them weight loss products... it won't work... this is how you have a list of 5000 or more broken down in seperate niches..... 5. Build a review site .. this is super important

When I got my hosting at SiteServing...they included some SEO stuff ... so I'd look for a web host that will include this also. You really need a website to be an effective affiliate.
