Jesus instructed His followers to give VOLUNTARILY as an act of worship to Him. Statistically, conservatives give lots more to charity than liberals, they also perform more volunteer work, donate more blood and are better tippers.

Jesus wanted people to share what they have but he didn't advocate the government taking it by force and redistributing it. It appears he was opposed to the philosophy of taxes of the Roman government but he peacefully paid his taxes. He really did not choose to meddle in political affairs, his concern was morality issues.

There is a difference between charity and redistribution of wealth.
Charity benefits both the giver and the receiver. It is based on love and compassion. 100% of your charity goes to help those in need.
Redistribution of wealth through government benefits government bureaucracy. It leaves a bitter taste in the givers mouth, and the receiver is looked down upon by society. It is based on theft. Only a small percentage of your contribution goes to helping those in need.

To call Jesus a democrat or a republican is disingenuous. His cause was personal salvation and not government reform.

liberals do not share there wealth with the poor, they work at places that help the poor because all the good jobs are taken and they can't get in on it. they also don't actually help the poor they think there helping the poor. come to think of it, they don't do anything for the poor, liberals help select groups of people telling them that they are different and that they are with them in there fight against the government.

as far as your ideas of jesus he did not tell people to give away all there wealth, he wanted people to help each other, that's not what liberals do, liberals only help themselves with other peoples money. there is a difference between giving and being forced to give.
