What are some marketing events/tips?

I work for a chiroprcatic office and part of my job is marketing to bring in new patients. I am not allowed to leave the office either. I just wanted to know if there were some type of events or different flyers I could make or something I could do to attract new patients or reactivate old patients. Also, the doctor I work for does not like to spend a lot of money.

Here are some options:

1) Use a site like http://www.issuu.com to post an online newsletter you can use to keep current patients
2) Use promotional products to incent customers to keep coming there
3) Add yourself to local directory listings (using google places) and also look out for twitter places!
4) Buy into a community network of discounts and deals by providing a membership base for them, depending on your region, the networks are different.
