Xbox family settings not disabling though i have turned 18?

Its my 18th birthday woo, and today hoped that my family settings would just clear. But no. The account i used for the family setting was my mums until it got hacked and password changed, everything was enabled but i cant go on the facebook and twitter app etc. Am i stuffed because the original password has been lost? or will i have to wait for a few days for it to realize my age?

Have you actually promoted your child account into an adult account, it doesn't do this automatically. You can find how to do this here http://support.xbox.com/support/en/us/nx...count.aspx
