I'd say right now is a bad time. Everybody is using a new hack that came out recently meaning they can fly around the screen and get to places and buildings that are normally not possible to reach. Your brother is wrong, a lot of people still play CoD4 online but with this hack the online is basically ruined for the time being

Alot of people still play on ps3. Just now for the time being there are alot of hackers on. But Infinity ward in Fixing up the game so it can be hack free.

Tons of people play it. But don't get it right now. It's an old game and there are soooooooooo many better games right now to spend money on instead of Cod4.

If you're looking for a great shooter, buy Killzone 2 instead. I love it.

Remember- you don't buy a ps3 to play games that you can play on an xbox, too. You buy a ps3 to play the ps3-only games. Because the ps3-only exclusives are way better than multiplatform titles.
