How do i get clients as a wedding photographer?
i started a wedding photography last year for good, now how to get clients how should i make my self known in market, i posted adds on kijiji.ca i did get 3 wedding shoots but the issue on kijiji is people are looking for dirt cheep deals, and shooting a wedding is exhausting work but of-corse i love it tho

so how do i get more jobs as a wedding / engagement photographer in toronto, canada

If you set up a Facebook fan page you can create adds that you can customize to target your specific audience. In your case it would be people who are engaged and even more specifically if you want to go by gender (since women do a lot of the planning.) You can set the amount you're willing to spend and the length of time your add will run and even create multiple visions. It has worked for me!

Start a blog, a Facebook page (make sure to invite all your friends and encourage them to share your work with their friends) and spread the word with Twitter. Also visit photography and wedding forums. Leave a link to your blog in the signature section. Leave useful advice on those forum so that people know you know what you are talking about and you will slowly build some net cred.

Later you can start an online store where you can sell some stock photography and make more money.
