How do I get more followers on SoundCloud?

I'm trying to share my Electronic Dance Music with others who will enjoy it, and I've been using soundcloud for a couple months now, but I still have very few followers (8 to be exact).

Any other tips, advice, or experience on how I can spread my music??

Create a YouTube account and post your music there with a link to your SoundCloud page. Also post links to your music on Facebook or Twitter. But don't flood it too much - you don't want it to feel like spam.
