How do I remove updates from my home on twitter?

Okay. Well you know on your home page on twitter it shows you the updates of people your following. Well i have updates from people I'm not following and i dont know how to get rid of them. Please Help!

It depends.

First, it seems that you would have had to engage them in conversation in some manner... though I could be wrong about that.

If you are offended by their information you could send it to @SPAM. Their account would be reviewed and potentially removed which would solve your problem.

You could block them and then you wouldn't see their tweets any longer. To block a person without a msg visit their profile, click on block, confirm your click and it is done.

There are many ways to cut people off though I would do it sparingly. If word gets out that you are doing this on a mass scale you could find numerous people blocking or reporting you. If this happens Twitter will review your account with the potential possibility of terminating you instead.
