The free market is not the best format for health care.

Everyone has an equal, infinite demand for good health. The free market tries to control the supply of health care workers (doctors) to keep their wages astronomical.

If we all just would agree that each of us needs to be healthy and we distributed the costs over everyone thru taxes, we'd all be better off.

The private medical schools wouldn't be able to trickle out a measly amount of doctors. Medical school would be free and they would pump out doctors to keep the cost low.

Single payer is the way to go.

The Republicans have thrown up roadblocks, we deal with them.

In the end the truth is always obvious (to everyone except Limbots).

Yes, the same way that state funded schools created a single educational system by getting ride of the privately funded schools.

Doctors wages are high because they have to carry such high amounts of liability insurance to even cover their butt in the event some loon sues them for malpractice.

They have to run so many tests than might not be required but they need to cover their butt just in case they end up in court.

They do not get a free education. They have among the highest loan amounts when they graduate which they work for many years to pay those off to even make a decent living.

And you think the government is gonig to make things better? Like Medicare and Social Security? Two failed Democrat ideas.
