I have my own Business as a web designer, what are some places I can go to find people that need websites or logos built?

you just have to start advertising on websites and making posters and stuff like that. and, if you have your own website, you can use metatags and other techniques to get search engines like google to put your website first.

You can participate in marketing forums, make good comments on blogs related to your business, find some blogs that will let you write guest post about things related to your niche, go on twitter and watch for people asking about website design, make your business a Facebook Business page.

But, no matter what you do you have to 1st be helpful to others before you can sell them anything. They need to trust you and trust that you know what your doing.
