How can people follow me on twitter without me accepting their follower request? Thanks!

Twitter has the default setting that people will follow you without you having to accept them. If you want to accept the people that want to follow you, then it makes your Twitter private. To read it people are going to have to follow you but wait until you accept their friend request in order for them to read your tweets.
To make your Twitter private it's to simply go to your Twitter home. Click on Settings (http://twitter.com/settings/account) Then mark where it says ''Protect my tweets'', save and done.
