What are unique ways to advertise a website online?
I am looking for a list of a few different interesting ways to advertise a website online. I would prefer ideas that are free or low in cost. Thanks for any help in advance!

Come on this ones easy
 -Myspace -Create a youtube channel about it and tutorials and stuff... Also if you google free forums websites you can make forums and stuff which is basically like a website you create... but it's in a forums format... hope i helped :-) Ads |

Hi. Just like you, I am also trying to find ways to advertise my website online as well. However, let me emphasize that offline marketing may be very useful as well, especially if you live in a large town. One offline marketing technique I have found to be useful is using business cards.

Some other great ways to advertise a website online are: Social Media Websites (Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr) Craigslist.org Backpage.com Create a Blog for the website (wordpress) Always put it in your signature when on blogs, emailing, forums, etc. There are many ways. I also thing the fastest way to advertise online is to search online. I would say the best ways to advertise for free would be to use social media outlets to promote your brand/ company.
YouTube Vimeo Delicious Digg Foursquare Or go on to know em.com and it will give you a list of social sites ( there are like 350) But word of mouth is always the best way so make sure to ask friends and family to share your links, add video to you tube (this can bring a huge impact to your site). |
