What is a good online scheduling system that a volunteer group can use?

We need a good scheduling system for our volunteer organization which schedules patrols and other events. We currently use Doodle Calendar but we need something more stable any help would be great.

One good one I have heard about is Appointment-Plus. I think they have a discount for non-profits. It is not free but most of the free options have limitations such as stability or low on features. the appointment-plus system is pretty cool because you can change the design of the scheduling page with your own colors.

They call it scheduling software but it is more of a souped up scheduler with a ton of small business management tools like syncing with Outlook, Google and pushing message through Facebook and Twitter and email marketing programs like iContact and Constant Contact.
