How good is the security on Playstation 3 (PSN) now?
im thinking of buying the playstation 3. but if the security is still as weak as it were i will not buy it.

hackers threatened they would hack psn again the first day it was up , in 6 months they haven't so it must be really secure , and it took 5 years to hack psn the 1st time , xbla was hack in 9 months after the 360 was released , people aren't saying it's not safe
in that same 6 months the following networks have been hacked , the egyptian government , the f.b.i. , Honda north america , ubisoft montreal , facebook , twitter , amazon.com
if you use any of those networks or have accounts on them more information was stolen from you than hackers got from psn so Sony is as secure as they come
there was never proof credit card information was taken from psn , they just suggested people change cards and cancel old ones as a precaution
psn hackers got approx. 66,000 psn passwords , and peoples names and e-mail addresses of about 500,000 accounts
that's not information they can't easily get from facebook already

It's much stronger and better than it was when it got hacked. It's probably impossible to hack the PSN again.
