Should i be able to get a twitter account or not?
Im 13 and was wonderin if it would be okay for me to a twitter account- it seems fun but i dnt know the disadvantages of it.

There really are none. It is nothing like a Facebook though, if that is hwat you are looking for. I would get one.

This pretty much explains the advantages and disadvantages of getting a Twitter account. And Twitter doesn't have age restrictions, at least not that I know of. Hope this helps.

You should be able to get one - from a technical standpoint. Have you talked it over with your parents?
My only caution would be...be careful what you tweet. It's tempting because Twitter is so casual and immediate to just say whatever/whenever but there are a lot of not-very-nice people out there some of whom are just looking for friendly 13-year-olds. As long as you're careful about it there shouldn't be a problem though. |
