why is there a lock beside some links i go on, on windows 7?
whenever i type twitter.com it always shows a lock beside it and the page isnt organized well i have to refresh sometimes for the site to come.

That simply means you have entered in safe connection..that most of the sites provide to prevent your data transmitted during session be hacked by any person.
