how to start a social service program?
I am trying to help people in family crisis, i want to help in all ways, rent, clothes, food and utililies, ect. How do I get started? I want to run an organization that also provide jobs in my community at a social service center or agency.

My first move would be ;; Yes I would go see my pastor or priest [ depend your religion ] and explain him what I want to do fro the society and I would ask him to mention my project in the church during the service . I would also ask my pastor to mention that ; anybody who want to drop clothes ; food ; all kind of utilities can drop it to the fire station [ but you need the permission of the fire dept ] Your project is VERY NOBLE ; but its a big one and I hope you succeed Note Do not use your home for any donations ; its to dangerous . ITS nice to be so generous ; but you have to protect yourself and your family

Be active and volunteer in your desired direction. Make a group of your friends for more efficiency. Register your group as an NGO.
