Do you believe it fair to place the national financial issue on our children?

I simply can't see how printing all that extra money is going to help everyone in need--not to mention how it will affect our children in the future!

It won't -- CBO made that clear when they said the stimulus will do more harm in the long run. It was further confirmed by many notable free-market economists who confirmed CBO's analysis.

The problem is Obama wants his spending package -- anything short of the planet imploding would have been disregarded and he would have demanded the bill be pushed through as quickly as possible cloaked in "stimulus".

Some estimates go as far as riding each program out to the infinite year like Social Security and Medicare. With all of the programs we have now, and the spending we're doing now, they estimate our national debt is at 100 Trillion instead of the highly reported 10 Trillion.

Don't worry too much though -- we'll eventually devalue the dollar so heavily our debt will be 20 million in real dollars in the future and we'll pay it down w/ a 20 million dollar bill.

I don't see where you and I as the American taxpayer, have a say. Someone higher than us has made the decision. Notice, it was the Dems.

GW Bush made certain that the Treasury was looted, his oil and bank buddies all got filthy rich and left us $3 trillion in debt.
It's why he let in all the illegals - 10 years from now tax rates will go over 50%, and our children's children's children will still be paying for GW & Co's thievery.

Well, thank a republican for that. They're the ones who ditched the gold standard and put us on the credit card standard.
Actually, the US brings in billions every day in revenues from many, many places you'll never even know of. It's the worlds biggest extortion racket and was taken over by organized crime when the "war on drugs" was started. The WOD was started to rub out all the competition. We get told lies upon lies upon lies to keep us at each others throats and distracted from the truth that we're governed by mafia dons called politicians and have been for quite some time.
Need proof? OK..
Who profits from the sale of illicit drugs? Police, Prison guards and the people who run and operate prisons at all levels, Politicians and who else? Organized crime. who almost never is prosecuted except when some independent tries to muscle in on the scam.
If a politician doesn't want to play ball they say it's either gold or lead. You can profit or we kill you and your entire family and wipe them off the face of the earth.
Simple game we have seen on old TV shows...to bad it was real.
