Twitter users please help?

Hi, I only used Twitter once. I created an account a few months ago and then forgot all about it. Now I got a few emails from people that are replying to my tweets, which I never sent. I clicked on the @myname and I found a new Twitter page in my name with spam stuff on it. I never created this second page. What should I do? Can I write to Twitter?

It sounds like either your twitter account or email account got hacked. Go to twitter's help faqs, file a help ticket, & change your twitter & email account passwords. Don't click on any weird or suspicious-looking links in future, there's a lot of password phishing sites out there, a lot of my twitter friends get hacked by them & their accounts send out spam.
Also check your twitter settings/applications...see if there are any apps that shouldn't be accessing your account & remove them. It's very easy, the twitter faqs explain it.
