How do you think globalization will end?
Will Marx's proletariat revolution overthrow the shackles of global capital and create a truly non-bureaucratized society, one based on freedom, social and economic justice, creativity, fun, you know, an enlightened society? What role does Marxist thought play in this? Also, does libertarian, or even free market ideology play a role in the solution? Does ideology even hold any place in an enlightened society? These are a lot of questions, but I am a man with many questions.

A natural disaster like the one that destroy the dinosaurs. Some rouge comet with a grudge against Al Gore will destroy Earth.

Merry Christmas,
And a happy new Year to all.

I think Karl Marx was to general. He understood the stake at claim, but I dont think he knew the power of consumerism as a variable. We have moved beyond the whole means of production in relation to power. In the sense that people will over throw. The fact is if everything was made in the USA our goods would not be as cheap as we have come to expect them as. The whole economy is based on this balance. So now we are talking not about proletariat and bourgeoisie. Because peoples ideals need to change to meet those demands.

I think we are in a revolution where less is more. From our technology to our environment. People want more still bu they want it in less if that makes sense. So your seeing people be drawn to simple one stop things in all aspects. Removing the clutter.

So hopefully that will redefine consumerism to be something healthier that can be met in a balance.

IF 21st century globalization is stopped it will happen only through the same events that brought 19th century globalization to a halt: world war.

Globalization will end when a catastrophic climate event hits the earth and shatters the illusions of the left wing environmental movement who think they can control the climate. Many people will be disappointed and will abandon this one world government ideology.

No. Marx is correct in certain aspects, though the problem is that the proletariat will get comfortable with a little authority and will start dictating the "new proletariat" in the long run. Its inevitable.

PS_ Are you from Alberta?
