How do I find someone to help me build a social networking website???

I am trying to build a social networking website and have very little experience building websites. How should I go about finding someone to help me build a website that can accomodate such traffic??

hehe. thos who know to build one, will not help u, they will make their own cause it's lot of money from ads.... and where are two people making one thing scandal will come at certain point ) (of course over money, percent of business)

You just found it. The problem is that it will cost you too much in time and money. I've work to a site like this with a team of 4 programmers for a year to make a working version. After this it comes to getting attention to it and make money. Is not that easy it seams.

Unless you are willing to pay a design team or programmers you will have to pretty much go it alone. Using Drupal or joomla you can create a social networking framework that you can customize to become the network you want. For advertising you need to know SEO or Search Engine Optimization and also Internet Marketing. This will allow the search engines to look at the site, explore it and determine how best to promote it within themselves.
Keywords are important as well, good keywords will promote the site better to the networks. Writing articles and submitting them to the free article directories always helps also.
What you want to do is a lot of work, but it can be done with just one person, if you are so determined.
