Many famous people actually have people who tweet for them as well, plus their schedules are so busy they don't sleep a lot so they have time to chuck in a quick tweet.

There are many social media management programs that help people to pre-write tweets and also add websites updates automatically to their Twitter accounts. You can connect also Facebook and Twitter as an example. Or if you have a blog you can send your updates automatically to your Twitter account.

The two main systems used are called HootSuite and Socialoomph (yes I know a funny name, but a real company.) If you plan to use such companies, make sure you use companies that work together with Twitter and follow their guidelines.

Many spammers tried to abuse services like that, but Twitter detects it easily if someone for example tries to post every 2 minutes the same or very similar messages.
