And pay their employees as much as they can realistically while paying all the licensing, permits, fees and taxes just to have permission by the layers of government to keep their door open?

Where do they think they're going to work when they keep voting for candidates that take from business to pay for social problems supposedly caused by evil capitalists?

It is not only the young of today that have that impression. Most young people think if you own a business you must be rich.

No. Socialist youngsters believe that business owners have pockets full of candy and workers should be able to sit around all day just chillin' and the business owner should give them free candy, but the mean capitalists are too greedy to share their candy, and that's why they want to start a revolution.

It's really all about candy.

That's all they really wanted.

Seriously. I worked as a public high school math teacher.

Kids really do believe that money just appears out of thin air, or it comes from the government or something. They believe that work is optional. They see no reason why they should be punished when they misbehave and disturb the classroom, and they call their parents to get revenge on you if you send them to the principal.

They see no connection between their actions and what they experience. They believe that if a grownup does something to them because of their own actions, it was the grownups choice to punish them, so it happened only because of the grownup. The grownup could have chosen not to punish them, so it had nothing to do with their action.

They just have the right to do whatever they want, and nothing should ever happen to them. They have the right not to do whatever they don't want, and the world still owes them a living.

The dumbing down of America has achieved its objective.

The public school system is a "useful idiot" factory, churning out ignorant and gullible future criminals who will eagerly jump on the communism bandwagon as soon as it rolls into town.

It made me sick to watch kids getting churned through the communist indoctrination mill all day long.

And how well it worked.

Democrats don't care.

Democrats Hate Employers and Employees.

Most Democrats refuse to work.

I don't think they really care. Age and knowledge changes that perception though.

No, they have an idealist view of the world. In my case (employee), my taxes are likely to go up at least $6000 per year ($500 per month) in the next two years. These same idealists don't seem to realize that someone like me who isn't rich and doesn't want to be poor isn't going to stop saving and buying gold, I'm going to cut back on unnecessary spending, for example going out to dinner (that's 5 dinners a month and $500 or more that won't be spent at local restaurants). I guess the people who voted for Obama that work in those places figure that their rich bosses will make up for the losses.

Other people like me will start cutting their own lawns, changing their own oil and doing minor maintenance work on their houses that they now hire small business people to do, those people will in turn have less money to spend on unnecessary purchases. I might even start having my wife cut my hair - although she said she wants me to shave it, in any case, that's $520 a year not going to the woman who cuts my hair.

The interesting thing is that in the past 3 months it's become a game for us to see how cheap we can be and how much money and gold we can pile up. We already decided not to go to two MLB games next summer, so the hotel that we stay at and the stadium vendors lose out on that money.

No they don't know. They think the greedy business owner is screwing them and exploiting their labor.

They are not altogether wrong either. Your contention that a business owner pays his help all he realistically can, is generally not the case. In a perfect capitalist economy, the capitalists pay no more than than supply and demand requires for labor. The capitalist is in business for his own ends, not those of his help.

Capitalism is the best system ever invented for wealth creation. It doesn't need to be sugar coated to sell it.

Matthew............These youngsters believe we get all that free from the government and we should share it with them. I have news for them. I'm a small business owner and I deal with the government as well as civilian market and I can tell you with all the BS we have to put up with, I pay out my azz to keep the doors open. To be very honest, I won't hire any of these young socialist for my company and I can usually tell within 10 minutes of talking with them where their head is! Fair, maybe not, but it is in my best interest to keep my doors open and keep paying my 12 employees top money and with all benefits provided! The government gets enough of their money through taxes and with the health care reform bill, cap and trade and a second stimulus coming, the government will want more from them as well as from myself. Btw, we had a $5.3 million dollar year last year and I made less then $150,000 and had to pay for my family's health insurance! So you can see, we're by no means rich and only want to be able to provide jobs to keep my employees off the government dole!!
