Can someone help me with my friend's Global History essay?

"Which economic, political, and social forces were most responsible for the rise of nationalism in Asia, Africa, the Middle East, Europe, and Latin America that began in the late nineteenth and twentieth centuries? In your discussion be sure to include examples."

That's what the task for the essay says/is, and Global History isn't my forte, so I've come to you for help.

Hey there, well I'd be careful with using a site like the one mentioned above seeing that they have a lot of complaints. I've posted a link about them below.
To give you some thoughts off the top of my head I think the industrial revolution had a lot to do with the rise of nationalism. Free markets certainly had a big effect on the grouping together of people and states. Also the imperialistic nature of the state led to exploration and expansion of boundaries and this naturally led to weaker states needing to 'bond' together to fight the imperialists. Anyways, I know that isn't too in depth, but hope it helps a little.
Btw, if you are looking for a good site to help write your essay try Ymoola. I've used them for a masters level paper and it was excellent. But just be careful with any of them if you do use them.
