How do you log out of twitter on a phone?

I logged onto twitter from my phone and now whenever I press logout it just refreshes the page and keeps me on. How can I log off?
It's a crappy prepaid thing. Not an iPhone or anything

yes u can. if u have an android u should have a menu button so click that and there should be a log out/ sign out button

press and hold the main button, then press and hold the twitter icon to close out
