Many marketing plans I have seen lately use a mind-map style to lay out the plan like a blueprint. You can find free software to create mind maps at freemind.com and bubbl.us, to name a couple.

I suggest you use your website as the center or "hub" of your plan. So it will be named in the center of your mindmap. Branching out from the center, you will cite the various marketing tactics you plan to use: social sites like twitter, facebook, linkedin,etc., and other sites such you want to use such as: youtube, ezine articles, a blog, etc.

You need a strategy. Will you promote your site to travel agents, hotel concierge staff, and other travel professionals? Or will you target the general public, the average world tourist?

Once you know your strategy, you can research how best to use the tactics mentioned above. For example, you can search Google for "How to use Twitter to Grow my Travel Business."
