If New York Democrat Anthony Weiner was a republican, would he have resigned already?
Instead of claiming that his twitter account was hacked?

What a stupid question. You're setting up a pointless strawman.

If he did what he's being accused of, then he's a bad person and a liar. I don't care about party.

If he was republican, he'd be running for president.

no but he would be called out for it because we all know republicans are "Family Value" politicians. don't try to protect the sanctity of marriage and you get to cheat all you want. i don't blame him for denying it. confessing to such a silly controversy would be stupid.

No. He'd be protected while all of conservative media rail their disgust over how low liberals would stoop to besmirch a patriotic politician, to actually go so far as hack his personal social media accounts.

Yes, the liberal press would have hounded him out of office. Instead, silence.

Nope. He would have been burned at the stake.

Resignation isn't needed. There isn't anything lewd about underwear, the woman lives three thousand miles away and isn't upset about anything Weiner did, or didn't do.
Neither of them thought this was a big deal until the press went after him about it.
Republicans don't resign even when they plead guilty in court, so lets not even go there. Craig finished out his term, Vitter is still in office. Sandford left after trying to stay.

You mean like Vitter, Craig, Sanford, Ensign, etc.? Republicans don’t resign. Spitzer, a Democrat, did however.

No.

The minute we heard the name "Breitbart" we knew it was a hoax. Do try to pay attention to something other than other men's crotches.
