Does this cancer boy like me?

This might sound a little stupid but there's a guy who joined band this year, and he added me on facebook and followed me on twitter and retweets/favorites just about every other tweet, and likes my statuses when he gets on. Since he was new i told him that he was my new "best friend" and ive taken to saying hi to him all the time, just to be nice. That, and his sister one day told me I should go to homecoming with him while he was sitting just a seat in front of her. He was like "no," but in a way that he was more embarrassed his sister would say that rather than in a mean "I would never go with her" way and turned around in his seat for a couple minutes, then started talking to us both after the topic changed off him. I don't know if he stares A LOT because I'm scared if I look over he'll be staring and then it'll be awkward, But I have caught him quite a few times. and he sometimes talks to me on twitter late at night, and all of a sudden his sister says hi to me every day, and it's making me suspicious that something is up that I don't know about. Also, I'm a leo and he is a cancer. Help?

Try to get him to lighten up a bit. Pull some faces or mimic other band members or something. Cancer people are water people, and water is sensitive - and it magnifies (exaggerates fears, etc.). It is also "negative" (as in reactive and reflective - unlike you fire types who are more proactive), and cancer types need to be teased out of their shells sometimes. Obviously as there are a million shades of blond hair, so there are a million types of water & fire people, but these are just some general indications.

It could make for a difficult relationship, but if you are sensitive to his sensitivity, realise that while you like to go at things head on while he probably circles around, it could be great fun for you both.
