What are the main influential groups within the Democrat and Republican parties?
Ok, this is what I've been able to come up with from research. Tell me if I've missed something, and provide links if possible please.
Groups within the Republicans: Standard Conservative=for strong action foreign policy, for free market capitalism, business before environment, for traditional family values, against gun and property regulation Classical Liberal=Same as conservative but set a different list of priorities focused on the economy Moderate Republican=for strong action foreign policy, balance between business and environment, for traditional family values, for a big federal government and federal spending to handle issues, against gun and property regulation Social Conservative=sometimes anti military, business before environment, for free market capitalism, for regulating and controlling morality in society, pro gun regulation Conservative Libertarians=disagrees with the party on a lot of issues but believes in free market capitalism and against gun and property regulation Groups within the Democrats: Bright Green environmentalists=mainly focused on getting a balance between business and environment Blue Dog Democrats=for fiscal conservatism, for traditional family values, for strong action foreign policy, balance between business and environment, against gun regulation Dark Green Environmentalist=mainly focused on environment and heavy fines and regulations on businesses that harm the environment Social Liberals=against traditional family values in public sector, heavy gun and property regulation, heavy environmental regulation, foriegn policy focused on getting along with the UN and other countries, uses taxes and government programs to intervene in the economy A second optional question is what groups do you think have the majority and which have the minority in each party? I don't think any republicans are for a bigger gov't. Repubs want to work for the people not the other way around.

I don't know where you get your information but Nixon passed the clean air act in the early 70's - but like our immigration laws it was never enforced.
Both parties have been infiltrated by the communists. |

Dems: a bunch of b****ing idiots who are disloyal to their country and leaders. This group tends to not be happy unless they get exactly what they want, and then overlook anything just because a person is from their party.
Reps: a bunch of way too frugal dummies who can't seem who aren't happy unless they get exactly what they want. Me: A loyal American who doesn't align himself with either party because they both attack each other more than they defend the country. People love politicians too much, to the point of fanaticism and hatred of their fellow Americans. I just saw another poster here say that Reps were headed by Satan. Really? What a great way to act towards your American brother. Just because someone doesn't agree with you doesn't mean they're wrong. |

HAWK MAN said it plainly; Dems only assume the status that they have right now as being "secular progressives" in order to garner votes

A simple solution that 'should' make all on your list happy is to adhere to the principals laid out in our constitution! The following video explains the threats we are all facing....
