Does anyone know any hacks or tricks that can be done on the "shuttle" phone by virgin mobile?

Virgin Mobiles are made hard to hack because they want to keep people from flashing them to other carriers like Cricket, Metro, Revol and Pocket. Most you can't even connect with a usb cable to your pc. And even bluetooth is limited to headsets only.

The best you can do is find all the stuff in it that isn't activated standard. One of the best ones is Opera Mini web browser because it allows you to compress your data making web browsing faster (and cheaper) then the regular Virgin Mobile browser.http://web.virginmobileusa.com/help/stuff/opera-mini/general#which-vm-phone-can-access-web
It doesn't hurt that your Shuttle has 3G internet.

Look under Virgin XL for free apps, they may have more. (And make Sure that XL isn't charging you if you are on the 20 and 50 meg plans. The 5 meg plan, you don't get free XL, the others you do. If XL is activated, make sure to turn it off or it will keep taking 15 a day out of your bank whether you use it or not.) There's no point to a "free" app if you have to pay to access it.

Other than getting Opera Mini for it, I've had no success so far. :/
