how do I stop someone mentioning me on twitter?
I would like to set some users so that they cannot mention me on twitter, is this possible and if so how do I do it?

This is not even remotely possible.

Mind you, you can block them so their tweets won't appear in your mentions tab which can reduce the annoyance factor.

The only way is by changing your name but seriously you can't stop that.
