I like Lewis and I'm a big fan of his and I'm gutted to see him go. I sort of hope a McLaren driver wins the championship wither it be Button or Perez. And McLaren didn't let him go, he chose to leave.

Something I find a little funny is that Button has stopped following Hamilton on Twitter and started following Perez.

Yeah, that's not happening. Nothing would annoy the team more than him taking his "number one" elsewhere (especially after all the criticism and the Spa telemetry scandal), so he's getting no support from here to the end of the year, no matter what they say in the press releases. They'll keep pushing until Button is mathematically out of things and then move on fully to the 2013 project.

I have a feeling McLaren will be able to live with it!!! And is this 'when' in any case. The fat lady has far from sung yet this season and if anybody is going to challenge Alonso, my money would be on Vettel, not Hamilton.

The spoilt brat won't win the WDC. It'll be Alonso or Raikkonen.

If McLaren can just keep Hamilton's car running, and he can avoid being punted by other drivers, Lewis just might give Fernando a run. But Seb Vettel is better positioned to challenge for the title at this point.
