How do I add data allowances for my BlackBerry?

When I first got my curve 9300 it came with a 2GB but obviously that's a very small amount , so I bought a 16GB memory card and it said I don't have enough space , because blackberry sets allowances for memory so say I wanted to download a update for Facebook it won't let me because of my allowances. How do I change these because its become so annoying and I can't figure out how to do it?

data allowance are through your wireless company, not the memory card... you will need to contact your wireless company to increase your data limit.
