Advice to start a conversation please?

I traveled to Europe with him two years ago with like 40 other people, but now he followed me on twitter and even though I barely know him I kind of have a little crush on him. We are both 18 and go to different high schools. On the trip we barely talked to each other at all. I am friends with him on Facebook and twitter but I don't have his number. What is a way I could maybe start talking to him without it being weird.. If that's possible haha. Thank you

Chat him on facebook and just say hey! and after a while of talking just say i have to get off here you should text me at ___ or can i have your number to talk later? either one should work! hope it works out!
