Twitter - if I tag someone in a DM will they see it?
When sending a DM to user A and tag user B in the comment, will user B then be notified that their name has been mentioned or does it stay private?

As long as you've put (for person B) '@B' it wont be private, person B will get mentioned because of the @. Whenever you put '@' and the persons name, they will always get a notification saying they've been mentioned.
