I have a FFL question regarding picking up free agency?

Power rankings decide who gets to pick up free agents first. I'm okay with that. But after that its open game except for players that were dropped during that time frame. Why is that? I say once a player is in the free agency pool he should be open game? But that's not the case. We can only pick up players that were dropped prior to this week. Leaving the garbage.

For trades its thr same way- if they are dropped they will appear after a few days. I think they are pushng us to deal eith our decision making because first 2 draft picks i can never trade. Quick adds amd drops allow for certain advantages everytimr u need or get tired of someone

Players that are dropped have to go through the same waiver process as anyone else. That way a manager who is consistently online cant just pickup someone they see who gets dropped. it allows everyone to take a look at the current free agents and put in a bid for the top talent.
