How do you get noticed for singing on YouTube?

I'm a 14 year old girl who loves singing. Unlike a lot people singing on YouTube, I don't really want to be discovered and be a singer. I don't really want to go far in music, and I sing more for myself. What I really want is for people to give me feedback on my music, and without people watching my videos, I can't get that. So how do I get people to view my videos when there are thousands of other girls who sing and sometimes play guitar out there?
My youtube is "singingminion" by the way. I don't have that much on there, but I'm planning to add more.

I just watched your videos...u have a very nice voice... first of all, singing popular songs can't hurt, 2nd u can cheat a little by putting things like justin beiber, amanda cosgrove, katy perry, and so on in the "tags" this way when they look up those artists ur video will also come up. Be exciting, dress up for us, act like u own the place. Oh and sing from ur diaphram not ur throat. U have great potential. Its right there u just need to get the leash on it.

First to get noticed you probably need a large user base to show record companies that people like you; people like your singing and you have what it takes.

You can get noticed without a lot of fans or views however there are also thousands if not millions of other people out there with their talents wanting to get noticed as well.

To get more views and fans just read this quote I replied on another question:

You should try to increase the amount of subscribers and fans you have for your channel so you have more steady flow of traffic with less work.

But to get started you should get the word out of your channel. Do this by commenting on related videos, or forums.

Don't spam your links though just make good comments on forums maybe have your link in your signature and on youtube make good comments and spark some curiousity.

Another easy thing you can work on is spreading the word on social networks. Social Networks are so good because they can get viral very easily. Post a status of your new video to your friends on your wall and if it's good it can easily spread.

Post your video there and promote others to like it there. The reason is when you post it there and share it with your friends it gives it more publicity and allows others to like it as well and share it with their friends.

Thus you get a viral network. If you get on the top likes you can get quite a few people looking at it and liking it if it's good.

It's very simple to post your video and get started however I'd recommend to also promote that like link so you can get a viral flow going the thing about posting just on your wall is you're restricted only to your friends.

There are many other methods you can use this is just the tip of the iceberg but it'll take me hours to explain all marketing methods you can try..

Essentially you might want to check out those successful video and see what makes them so successful how are they marketing it. search it on google on facebook see where they have links linking in and then you might want to follow it.

Oh another important thing is to create a brand and a name for yourself. There are many ways to do this and one of them is a fan page on facebook."
