If someone you have been talking to still looks around, should you move on?

I met this guy online and we have been chatting for a good three or four months and we hung out and he says he wants to see where we go. However, a few days ago he out an add out on a different dating site, I know this because I searched his name on google bc I wanted to find his twitter account.

Anyways should I move on? Or have a little faith, or bring this up and ask for a straight forward answer.

I know essentially I cannot get mad bc we are not truly dating but it hurts my feelings that two days ago I asked him if he wants to just be friends or give this a shot and he went with the ladder, then seeing he made a post looking for women Three days ago
